Lily's First Day of Kindergarten

 started out great! She was up early and ready to go!

 Big smiles all morning!

 We arrived a few minutes early to meet everyone on the playground, which was a bit overwhelming! There was a lot going on!

 Her emotions got the best of her...a little hug and encouragement

 and off she went.

 All in all, first day of kindergarten was a breeze! Lily loved everything about it! She couldn't stop telling her friend Sasha about her morning, as they walked hand-in-hand home from school.

Well, the summer is drawing near...although this is sad, we have had a blast! We have done lots of visiting and had lots of visitors!

Next week, Lily is off to kindergarten. She is very excited to be in school. She has meet her teacher and several of her classmates and anxiously awaits the first day of school, Tuesday. She was suppose to start Monday, but due to Hurricane Irene, it was cancelled! Crazy!

We are ever so close to bringing Zeland home. The paperwork continues and hopefully next week we will have more information. It is looking like the third or fourth week of September when we will travel. 

He is officially ours!!

We just heard! Zeland is officially ours! We will travel to bring him home in about 5-6 weeks! We are so excited, we can now post pictures!
